Day 14 - Hot Now!

Hot Now! I keep my wallet loaded with million dollar bill tracts so I'm always ready to pass some out when the chance presents itself. On the way to church this morning, we stopped at Krispi Kreme to get donuts for the kids. After paying for the donuts, I gave Mahren (that's what her name tag said) a tract and said:

Me: "Thanks, Mahren. This is for you. Ever received a million dollar bill?"

I also handed one to the guy next to me who was waiting for his order of donuts. He had a very interested look on his face, so I gave him one, too.

Me: To both of them--"It's a gospel tract. It has the million dollar question on the back."

Me: To Mahren--"Do you have a Christian background?"

Mahren: "Christian? No (with a heavy foreign accent that sounded Eastern European)."

Because there was a line, I didn't want to take too much time and slow things down. So salted the oats a bit before leaving.

Me: "Can you read English?"

Mahren: "Yes."

Me: "On the back it explains the answer to the million dollar question, "will you go to heaven when you die? Be sure to read it when you get a chance, because there's nothing more important than your eternal destiny, Mahren! Thanks for the donuts and have a great day!"

Mahren: "Thank you. You too."

The Guy in Line: "Thanks!"

Jesus in Mark 4:3, "A sower went out to sow seed." Jesus explained that the sower was sowing the seed of the Word of God into different kinds of "soils," which were different types of hearts. I pray that the seeds sown into the lives of Mahren and the man in line will spring up into a great harvest!
