"Let us not lose heart in doing good,
for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (Gal. 6:9)."
In my flesh, it's easy to lose heart in trying to share the gospel with people who are often so uninterested in eternal things. That's why I need to cry out for God's grace and power to move me to action and keep me focused on what matters most. We will reap!
On my way out of the office today, I saw Nikki and Jean at the parking garage exit again. I stopped and talked to them for a while to see how they were doing. I asked them if they had repented and trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation yet. Nikki said "not yet." Jean said he was "working on it." "What's stopping you?" I asked them. They just tried to joke around and blow it off as if it were really no big deal. I stressed to them how important an issue it really is and that should not delay, because they never know when their last day will be. Nikki just nodded her head as if to say, "I'm not really worried about it." Jean just repeated, "I'm working on it." Don't delay, I urged as I started to drive off. Keep praying they will see the seriousness of the situation, and I will keep "working" on them, trusting that in due time I will reap.
