- For making initial strategic contacts with Christian Indian lawyers and others in India where the Lord may be opening doors for service.
- For the friends (Ross McCordic, George Samuel, David Pentecost, Bobby Gupta) who have taken the time to help us make initial strategic contacts.
- For "coincidentally" being invited to join a delegation of human resources executives, including the COO of the Society for Human Resource Management, who will be traveling to Mumbai, Delhi, and Agra in December 2009 for the purpose of forging connections with Indian HR leaders and understanding Indian business culture (this could be key in pursuing "tent-making" opportunities in my profession). It just so happens that Mumbai and Delhi are two of the primary places we're considering!
- For the grace to step out in faith and put our house up for sale.
- For our sister-in-law, Kari McKee, who has been a blessing in guiding us through the process of getting our house ready to sell.
- For law partners who genuinely love the Lord, work hard to make our firm a true light in a dark world, and are excited about how He may be leading our firm, Newton, O'Connor, Turner & Ketchum, to expand its influence to India.
