In the recent past, I had an opportunity to witness to a young man named Clay who works at the grocery store that's on the way to our home. He said that he was going to repent and trust Christ for salvation and asked me be sure to come to his check out aisle the next time I passed through. I stopped by his aisle today when picking up some items on the way home from work. We had a good conversation about how things had been going. He's going into his junior year of high school. I asked him if he's been following the Lord. He said yes. I pulled out several more tracts and asked him if he wanted some so he could pass them out to people who may need them. He said yes. Said he'd find some people to give them to. I encouraged him to fish while he still could, since we don't know how much time we have left. He thanked me for the tracts and for stopping by. I'll keep checking on Clay and coaching him along as the Lord allows opportunities.
Another young man working with Clay was standing there, Cody. I handed a tract to Cody and to several other workers standing nearby. They were intrigued by the Obama million dollar bills. I told them they were gospel tracts and had the million dollar question on the back and encouraged them to be sure they seriously considered the answer to that question on the tract and act upon it before it's too late. Hopefully Clay and the others will hear the still small call of the Lord to come to Him for living waters, the true bread, and the food that never perishes.
