Day 56 - Tammy Says She's There

At breakfast this morning, our host, Tammy, helped me with certain directions. Afterward, I thanked her and expressed my thanks by offering her a celebrity million dollar bill. She chose Mel Gibson. She asked me where I got them, and I told her LivingWaters.com. I then explained that they were gospel tracts. I asked her if she had a church background. She said she's not going to church right now. I told that the tract had the million dollar question on the back and asked her if she knew what her eternal destiny will be. She said that she's definitely going to heaven. I didn't ask her about her profession of faith or upon what it is founded. Often when I ask those types of gently probing questions, I find the person really doesn't have a correct biblical understanding of how to be born again as explained by Jesus. The fact that she wasn't going to church, though, was a potentially bad sign, so I asked her why she wasn't attending. She said she may not be in Tulsa long. I encouraged her to check out Tulsa Bible Church until she moves and thanked her for her help this morning.
