Day 134 - Sicilians Love American Celebrities

On Friday the 23rd, we hopped on the Metro in Paris to take the train back to Charles de Gaulle Airport for our flight to India.  We had about a 40 minute train ride.  It was pretty packed.  We sat in a group of Sicilians.  I showed one guy next to me a celebrity million dollar bill of Harrison Ford.  He loved it, so I started showing him and his friends more of them.  They loved guessing the names of the celebrities whose caricatures were on the bills.  That started a friendly conversation about where they were from, where we were from, and as far as we could go with broken English (which really wasn't that far).  One of the guys said he could read English, so hopefully the message of the tracts will find a good place in their hearts to land.  One thing's for sure.  Being in Paris made me realize how awesome it would be to have learned to speak several languages growing up.
