The gas station was crowded tonight. After starting to fill up my car, I walked over to the pump next to me where two guys were standing on one side and a lady was standing on the other. I pulled out some million dollar bill tracts and asked them if they had received their stimulus money yet, handing them the bills. The readily took them with a chuckle.
As usual, I told them that they were gospel tracts and asked them if they knew what their eternal destiny would be if if they were to die tonight. As we started talking about their eternity, another man literally slammed on his breaks next to us, jumped out of his car, and ran over to me to get his stimulus money. He was a bit disappointed to learn it wasn't real, but then acknowledged that his eternal destiny was in fact worth a lot more than a million dollars.
Turn out that each of the four professed to have repented and trusted Christ alone as savior. I urged them then to begin to share their faith with others who may not know their destiny. They thanked me and we parted ways mutually encouraged by the encounter.
