Day 49 - Crazy Love Compels Me

Started listening to an audio book called "Crazy Love" by Pastor Francis Chan. Here's the link to the free download that expires this month. http://christianaudio.com/free_download.php I love this guy's passion for the Lord. And I love how he shoots straight. Pulls no punches. That's what we need in this post-modern, existentialist age. He reminds me of 2 Cor. 5:15: "And He died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and rose again."

When you begin to comprehend just what the Creator of the Universe has done for us, you get a crazy love for Him, a love that wants the whole world to know. "[W]e cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard (Acts 4:20)."

At the gas station today, I had to pass out some tracts and encourage people to read the gospel message on the back. I just couldn't hold it in.

At the restaurant tonight, I had to pass out some tracts and encourage some people to consider their eternal fate. I just couldn't hold it in.

There were several positive responses. And there were some less than enthused. Some confessed that their eternal destiny is secure. Only God knows.

As Pastor Johnston pointed out today from Acts, Paul was ready and eager to share the gospel with a crowd of ladies who just happened to show up where he was sitting by a river just outside of Philippi (Acts 16:13). He was ready to sow some seeds of the gospel with whomever the Lord brought his way. Lord, help me do the same while there's time left!
