Day 74 - Every Day. Every Where.

I asked the cashier at the gas station if I had given her a million dollars yet (the million dollar gospel tract). No, she said. So, I gave her two, told her they were gospel tracts and asked her if she knew where she'd go if she were to die today. Heaven, she said. I'm saved and go to church every Sunday, she said with enthusiasm. That's wonderful, I replied. I encouraged her to give the tracts to some people who may not know where they're going, because Jesus said that we should be fishing for men (Matt. 4:19). She thanked me, and I thanked her for her service.

In Acts 5, the High Priest had the Apostles arrested for sharing the gospel. An Angel released them from prison that night and commanded them, saying:

"Go, stand and speak to the people in the temple the whole message of this Life (v.20)."

They obeyed the Angel. Were caught again and beaten for it. And were then let go. How did the Apostles respond?

"So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. And every day, in the temple and from house to house (every where), they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ (vv.41-42)."

As I went on my way, I shared some tracts with the waitress her served us at dinner tonight. She professed to be a believer, too. I gave her an extra tract and asked her if she knew anyone who may not have repented and trusted Christ for salvation yet. She said she did. She knew lots of people who haven't turned to follow the Lord. I urged her to share the gospel with them before it's too late.

I hope these encounters encouraged these two believers to begin sharing their faith regularly. Every day. Every where. It's what His followers do.
