When pulling into the parking garage at work this morning, a gentleman in a white shirt and tie was standing at the entrance, handing something out. When I pulled up, I put my window down to swipe my parking pass to allow myself into the building. As I did, he greeted me warmly, handed me a piece of paper, and said, "I'm Jerry with American Parking. This is a customer satisfaction survey. We'd appreciate it if you would take some time to fill it out."
"Thanks, Jerry," I responded. "I have something for you, too." I pulled out a million dollar bill gospel tract and handed it to him. "Here's a free gift," I said enthusiastically. "Wow, a million dollars," he responded. "I can't wait to spend this," he said jokingly. "It's actually a gospel tract, Jerry. It has the million dollar question on the back, where will you go when you die?"
"Oh, I know the answer to that one," Jerry said quickly. "That's great, I responded." "Be sure to read the back to make sure you know and then pass it along to someone who may not know," I encouraged him. "You can't take a million dollars with you, Jerry. You can only take yourself and other people!" He thanked me. I told him it was good to meet him. And we wished each other a great day.
Opportunities abound to swing conversations to the eternal. Who knows if Jerry really knew what his destiny will be. Hopefully, he read the tract and either confirmed or found out the truth. Hopefully, he acted upon it or was inspired to pass it along. What opportunities will God bring your way? What will you do about it?
